Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe was raised by an ethnically mixed family. She has a mother who is English and her father Nigerian. She was raised in a council estate south of London. In the ages of fourteen, she was enrolled at The Brit School. She attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London which she graduated with an acting BA. The stage she appeared in was numerous productions during her time at school including the King Henry V, as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began her career as an actress with the film Storm Damage. The actress has been a guest for Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film appearance was Woody Allen's 2007 film Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. Following that she was cast as Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally, she starred in Trexx as Ollie as well as six episodes of Flipside. In 2008, Madekwe landed Bambi, the lead role on ITV2's drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe also played the main character on How to lose friends & betray people and be apathetic, which premiered on Sony Pictures Entertainment the year 2008. She has performed in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path which was written directed by David Watson.
Madekwe made her debut in the US in the US with The Beautiful Life. The drama show aired in the US on The CW for only two episodes, before it was cancelled. In February, she was cast 2011 in the role of Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. Madekwe starred as a regular character on the drama series on ABC Revenge in two episodes. The show was announced in May 2013 that she would quit the show after completing a guest episode in the first season of the third. She was Tituba on the television program Salem from 2014 to 2016. Madekwe got married to her actor boyfriend Iddo goldberg in June 2012. They collaborated on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. He also played with Madekwe in Salem.
Ashley Leggat is a Gemini-nominated actress who was raised in a big family. Her parents were Patty and Roy Leggat. Ashley Leggat joined Roy and Patty along with her three older siblings: Brett, Todd and Bram and Rob. Ashley's siblings, who are all athletic, played in the summer months and play hockey during winter. Ashley did not walk, but she was a dancer, and at age 2 1/2 years old she took up Baby Ballet -and she fell in love with. Ashley discovered a love for dancing when she began the Baby Ballet. Ashley continued to compete throughout high school at the top levels of competitions, such as ballet, tap, Jazz and Pointe. She also competed in Acrobatics, Acrobatics Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, and much more. Ashley won the best soloist honor at each major dance contest, which included International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and many more, just to mention a few.
